About

Iliso Project is a Non-Profit Organisation that is serving older persons at Zazulwana A/A. The Project provide community based care and support services to older persons in order to enable and support environment to ensure that older persons receive services that respond to their needs..

The visionaries have identified that some of the community members are abusing older person. Other community members are unemployed and that leads to high level of poverty, resulting to high rate of crime and unemployment within the country. Therefore, Iliso project aims help to reduce unemployment as people will be involved in their own development. This centre will help older persons to be aware of their rights and empower them with information so that they can stand up for their rights.

Older persons will also get an opportunity to be involved in the development of their community. Some of the older persons will share their knowledge and skills to other members of the community and that could help our new generation. The programme will also address issues of economic empowerment through job creation and income generating programmes. Issues of iintergenerational gaps and moral regeneration will be addressed through programmes that will be run in the centre.
